THE BENEFITS OF THE FUSION TILE SYSTEM

10MM ELASTOMERIC MATERIAL

Fusion’s system uses a substantial, flexible 10mm elastomeric material designed to provide long‑term durability while accommodating normal movement in the roof structure. This helps the covering stay in place and maintain its performance as the building naturally expands and contracts over time.

RESISTANCE TO CRACKING, DISCOLOURATION AND SHRINKAGE

The elastomeric material is designed to retain its condition and appearance over time. It is formulated to resist common issues such as cracking, discolouration and shrinkage, helping the roof continue to look neat and perform as intended.

LOCKING AND SEALING SYSTEM

Formed sections are joined using an integrated locking design and a specialist sealing compound. This combination is intended to reduce the number of potential water‑entry paths, creating a more continuous and secure roof covering.

WATERTIGHT DESIGN

Sealed joints, formed edges, ridges and apex details are designed to work together as a watertight system. When correctly installed, these elements create a fully sealed roof covering that is intended to keep water out and protect the structure beneath.

ALL‑WEATHER PROTECTION

The Fusion Tile system is intended for demanding UK conditions, including heavy rain, wind, snow, frost and sunlight. Its materials and detailing are designed to provide reliable protection across the seasons, helping to safeguard the roof in changeable weather.

THERMAL PERFORMANCE

The 10mm material adds an additional insulating layer to the roof build‑up. It is designed to help reduce heat transfer through the roof, supporting a more stable internal environment without making specific claims about energy savings.

FIRE RESISTANT

Fusion’s product information describes the material as providing a natural fire‑blanket effect and being fire rated to relevant European standards. Customers are invited to request the current supporting specification for detailed fire‑performance information for their project.

ZERO MAINTENANCE DESIGN

The system’s sealed surface and reduced number of joints are designed to cut down on routine maintenance points. While some maintenance will always be part of responsible roof ownership, the aim is to lessen the frequency and extent of typical upkeep tasks.

REDUCED REPAIR REQUIREMENTS

By integrating the covering into a continuous system and avoiding many common weak points, the design is intended to reduce the likelihood of recurring roof repairs. This does not guarantee that repairs will never be needed, but it is focused on limiting typical problem areas.

FASTER INSTALLATION

A standard roof may be installed in around two days under suitable conditions. Actual installation time will always depend on the size and complexity of the roof, its existing condition, site access and the prevailing weather.

REDUCED HANDLING DAMAGE

The flexible nature of the material and the controlled installation method are designed to reduce the risk of cracking or breaking during transport and fitting. This helps more of the product reach the roof in good condition and supports a consistent finish.

MODERN APPEARANCE

The Fusion Tile system creates a clean, contemporary roof finish that suits both traditional and modern properties. Its smooth lines and consistent surface are intended to complement a wide range of building styles.

BROAD APPLICATION

Projects can be assessed for domestic, commercial and industrial roofs, including both new roofs and re‑roofing work. The system is intended to offer a flexible option across different property types and project scales.

ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN

Fusion describes the material as ozone friendly and the overall system as having a reduced carbon footprint compared with certain traditional approaches. No quantified environmental claims are made here, but the design is focused on limiting environmental impact where possible.

150‑YEAR WORKMANSHIP GUARANTEE

Fusion Tile UK Ltd offers a 150‑year workmanship guarantee, subject to the written guarantee terms, maintenance requirements and exclusions supplied for the installation. Customers should review these documents carefully so they understand how the guarantee applies to their project.

CUSTOMER AFTERCARE

Customers can speak directly with the Fusion team before, during and after installation for project guidance and aftercare. This direct contact is intended to give homeowners and specifiers clear answers and support throughout the life of the roof.

INSTALLATION TIMELINE

Fusion’s promotional material describes a two-day installation for a standard roof. Your programme will depend on roof size, complexity, existing condition, access and weather. On an average size house we can install the roof within two days.
